Not all parts of my 101 in 1001 are going just the way I want them to, but that's okay. I find myself spending more time working on bible study and homeschooling than finding the time to blog. I can't seem to plan a date night with out the Marine Corps stepping in and messing up plans, and pictures of the girls are always a challenge! At least I got some of at least 2 out of the 3 of them :)
This past week I made my first 2 loaves of bread! They were super easy and fantastic. I have no idea why I haven't tried this sooner. I am feeling super ambitious and will attempt a honey wheat and a "everything" loaf tomorrow.
We started the process of cleaning out the garage and organizing it, and my hubs found his old camera case. And there just happened to be a Canon lens in it, so I HAD to try it out. Well it fit!!! So I have a nice new 75-300mm lens to play with! Oh I can't wait! Now when the girls run from me I can still catch them (well as long as the space is well it, lol). The only problem I am currently foreseeing with it is that the images are really large so I may need a new memory card. Still way cheaper than a new lens!
Also in the garage cleaning process hubs found my bible! It is my extreme teen one so I a few jokes but I don't care! It's my favorite. They pages may be water damaged and the spine damaged as well, but it really holds a special place in my heart.
Thats it for this one! Hope you enjoyed!

Update on my 101
Getting started on my 101 in 1001 has been easy. Part of me actually
feels like I can and might finish a majority of this way too soon. Maybe
I am just feeling over confident though.
In these last 2 weeks I have managed to make a few pinterest recipes! I made Butterscotch triple chip cookies, crock pot ravioli, crock pot chicken caesar sandwiches, crockpot brown sugar and beer kielbasa, and strawberry ice cream!
Butterscotch is one of my favorite things and I feel like it is seriously underused so when I found this recipe I HAD to make them!! So glad I did! They were so tasty, moist and the kids loved being able to help.
Crock pot ravioli was great but I let it cook too long so it dried out a bit. Next time I know for my crock pot only to let it cook for about 2 hours on high.
Hubs LOVED the sandwiches which were a meal just for him. Kids and I had a birthday part to be at and he was just too tired to make it. So he got a whole small crock pot of chicken, I think he is a bit spoiled ;) He put the meat on Hawaiian rolls, with some mozzarella cheese and romaine lettuce and devoured it! I don't feel so bad for leaving him home alone now.
Tonight I we will be enjoying the kielbasa and ice cream so I will update how those come out later!
On Monday night I went to the gym for the first time in almost a year. I ran the most pathetic mile I have EVER ran. 17:20. I half ran, half walked. On Wednesday, I got my run down to 15:54 and on Friday I made it in 15:10! So much progress so soon really gives me so much motivation to keep going and not quit! On another note I am pretty satisfied with the weight I have lost since I have had Tristyn. Breastmilk does a body good! I am now 17lbs below my pre pregnancy weight. 25 more lbs to my goal weight and 30lbs to what I weighed when I got married.
I still need to figure out a kidless lunch and a date night with the hubs for the month! Also a pinterest craft!

Welcome
My main purpose for starting this blog was to share my "100 in 1001". I was inspired by a dear friend (Kelly E.) and can't wait to meet all of my goals! I also want to share some about our homeschooling, and life in the Marine Corps. Its is a crazy and wonderful world we have learned to love and even at times hate.
I am 24 and originally from Texas. Cody and I met in highschool and he always knew he wanted to be a Marine. We married in September 2007 and our first daughter Emma was born August 2008. She was born during a deployment, and was immediately diagnosed with a rare genetic disease, Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (which I have a second blog about). Our second daughter, Abiageal, was born April 2010 and Tristyn was born July 2012.
These girls have made my world, and I love staying home with them. This year we have started homeschooling with Emma, for pre-k. I am viewing this as our "practice" run to see if we can handle Kindergarten homeschooling!
I also love to cook and craft! There is always a project hanging out in the back of my head to be done.
So in short this will be full of all kinds of rambling :)
Enjoy.
